The Kwara state Government has commenced asphalt pavement of Shao Township Road which is meant to open up the ancient town for economic growth and development.

The construction work is being supervised by the Kwara State Ministry of Works and has provided a window of opportunities for artisans, businesses and industries in the host community thereby creating jobs and significantly reducing the alarming rate of unemployment in the state.
